Hong Kong Pools – Top 5 Hotel Rooftop Pools in Hong Kong

Whether you’re looking for a place to impress out-of-town guests or simply need a little weekend escape from the hustle and bustle of the city, Hong Kong has plenty of fabulous pool options to offer. Among them are public swimming pools, pool at residential complexes, private member’s clubs, and even the ultimate pool – the ocean. But we’ve also got the best hotel rooftop pools for a bit of luxury pool time.

The swanky K11 Artus serviced apartment-hotel has a gorgeous outdoor swimming pool that would make a great addition to any staycation. Its azure waters and turquoise Balinese stone give it an exotic feel that’ll be sure to relax you as you swim laps. Afterwards, enjoy some drinks or a nice meal at their Red Sugar terrace bar which is also adjacent to the pool.

The Kerry Hotel is another gorgeous hotel that has a stunning pool. Its modern outdoor pool is 25 meters long and boasts stunning views of Victoria Harbour from Hung Hom. It also doesn’t have any barriers so you’ll be able to see the water around you without anything getting in the way. After a refreshing dip, head to the nearby Red Sugar terrace bar for drinks or a relaxing evening under the stars.

Another great public pool is the Island Shangri-La which has a spacious indoor swimming pool that looks out towards the Tolo Harbour. It’s surrounded by palm trees and umbrella-lined lounge chairs which will have you feeling like you’re vacationing at a tropical paradise despite being in the middle of the city. The pool also has four waterslides which are sure to have the kids entertained and we can’t forget to mention the awesome view of some of Hong Kong’s most iconic skyscrapers!

The only drawback of this awesome pool is that it can get pretty busy on weekends. So be sure to arrive early if you want a spot. Also, the pools are only open during certain hours of the day so check their website for opening times and other information.

Another thing to keep in mind is that some of the public pools will close this summer due to a lack of lifeguards. So you may have to find an alternative if the ones you were planning on going to are closed for this reason. This is especially true for some of the more popular pools such as the one at the Peninsula, so plan ahead if you’re thinking of taking a swim this summer!
