This year we are moving to a virtual event as we try to do our part in limiting the spread of COVID-19 for our participants, volunteers, partners, and board members.
Now more than ever… Bike. Stay Healthy. Stay Happy.
The 14th Annual SpokeFest is On Its Way!
SpokeFest returns as a virtual event in 2021.
SpokeFest was developed with the non-bicycle enthusiast in mind just as much as experienced cyclists. We welcome anyone interested in riding a bicycle and families going out on a group ride for the first time. The routes were carefully chosen to be interesting, beautiful, and challenging, but not so challenging that first-timers can’t make it. The routes are easier with training, but it is not required. During this virtual event, we encourage riding in your own neighborhood or finding a new bicycle path to explore with family and friends.
Our Mission
The SpokeFest Association is a 501 (c) (3) non-profit organization which promotes bicycling for health and transportation. We do this through education on bike safety at school-age and adult levels, as well as the following events:
SpokeFest: Featuring our signature annual 21 mile ride with 9 mile and 50 mile options.
Bike Everywhere Month with Spokane Bikes: Promoting bicycle commuting for better lifestyles and the environment.
Spokane Summer Parkways: Returning for the twelfth year, with an event on the Solstice and several Kidical Mass rides. A joint project with The City of Spokane. For a taste of this, Check out this video.
SpokeFest Grants
Since 2010 SpokeFest has given $28,400 in grants to organizations that promote bicycle safety and education in the community.
