A beautiful and peaceful pool with a fantastic view, this is one of the best pools in the world. This rooftop pool, located on the 76th floor of the W Hotel, is the world’s highest and also boasts a pool bar where you can enjoy a drink and the views over Hong Kong.
This secluded pool is an oasis in the middle of the hustle and bustle of the city. With a small waterfall and comfortable loungers, it’s the perfect place to soak up the sun and enjoy the scenery. The pool is open until 10pm and is a great choice for a romantic evening.
The only downside is that it’s a little out of the way, but it’s still worth a visit.
Another hidden gem is the YMCA Bridges Street Centre, which has a huge indoor swimming pool that’s very affordable and convenient. It has a lap pool, as well as a leisure pool with water slides and fountains. Plus, it’s a very family-friendly pool and there are also changing facilities.
While it might not be the most glamorous, this is definitely a fun place to spend a day with the kids! It’s one of the most popular public swimming pools in Hong Kong for children, and it has a huge variety of waterslides and games to keep the kids entertained. It’s also right next to a shopping mall and there are plenty of places to eat and drink nearby.
The pool has a number of lockers that you can use, but they require a coin to unlock – normally $5. You can check the schedules on the Leisure and Cultural Services Department website before you head out. The pool is closed for cleaning on different days of the week and periodically for maintenance, so it’s important to check before you go. You can also bring your own towels, but the changing rooms might be a bit cramped.
