What is the HK Prize?

The hk prize is a fun and exciting way for high school students to win real cash prizes. However, it is important to know the rules and regulations before playing hk prize. This will help you avoid scams and fraud. It is also a good idea to play only at reputable sites. This will increase your chances of winning the hk prize.

The Hong Kong Prize is an independent merit-based award that recognizes scientific research with significant societal benefits. It is open to both individuals and teams. It encourages young people to follow their passion and broaden their perspectives. Its goal is to promote the development of a scientific community with strong international ties in Hong Kong.

This year’s theme is “Our Changing World” and asks artists to explore the various aspects of global evolution: socially, culturally, economically, and technologically. Each work will be unique and offer its own insights into the subject. Shortlisted works will be displayed at the Goethe-Gallery & Black Box Studio, alongside thought-provoking panels and an award ceremony. Proceeds from the event will support Justice Centre Hong Kong’s work for displaced people.

Among this year’s winners were a selfless volunteer who helps homeless adults, a professor who developed liquid biopsy technology that speeds up cancer diagnosis, and a top-grossing comedian who helped shape Hong Kong comedic culture. The prize ceremony was attended by a host of celebrities who congratulated the winners and vowed to continue to promote freedom in Hong Kong and across the world.

The HK Prize has become an internationally recognized and respected accolade. It rewards individuals and teams who have made outstanding contributions to the advancement of human knowledge in scientific fields such as artificial intelligence and robotics, life science research, new materials energy production and FinTech. It is awarded by the Hong Kong Alliance of Technology and Innovation, an independent organisation supported by Hong Kong’s business community and title-sponsored by Bank of China (Hong Kong) Limited.

Each year, the HK Prize committee nominates up to 10 candidates for the Gold Medal, which carries a monetary award of HK$200,000 and a trip to visit one of Hong Kong’s premier research facilities. The final winner is decided by an independent jury. Previous winners include Dr Kyan Cheung Ka-Hin and Ethan Soh Jon-Yi from Harrow International School Hong Kong in 2022, who won the Gold Award with their research report on the Properties of Semigroups Generated by RL Fractional Integrals.

The prize’s judging panel consists of scientists and experts from universities, government and the industry in Hong Kong and overseas. Its role is to suggest important scientific research areas for the PRIZE; setting requirements on nominating experts; reviewing and verifying the review results; appointing members of the Review Committee and Compliance Oversight Team; and making the final decision regarding the winner. It is an honor to be selected as the PRIZE winner. The prestigious award will inspire more scientists to explore and innovate in Hong Kong.
